This past weekend at Sojourn we looked at Hebrews 10:19-25 and when looking at verse 24 Pastor Matt gave us 9 Things to Consider When We Gather from Nate Akin.
Who can I encourage today?
Pray on your drive here: worship, message, individuals, etc.
Come early and stay late
You show up early to a movie, concert, etc.
What we do is WAY MORE IMPORTANT than any of those.
Sit with someone you don't know well or a new person
Pray for someone
Consider serving and do it with a smile.
Offer to help someone when you see they need it
Sing - we are singing the truths of the gospel
Be an active listener for whoever is preaching.
