Our discipleship pathway at Sojourn is designed to develop healthy people who are growing in the gospel, in the context of family, while living on mission. These 3 areas allow us to cultivate a healthy relationship with God, His Church, and our neighbors.
Our desire is to see those who are guest at Sojourn become friends and then see friends become family.
If you are new to Sojourn then the best way to get started is to attend our quarterly Sojourn 101 class. This is where you learn our story, where we’ve been, where we are going, and how you can join the journey with us.
Our desire is to see every person who is part of Sojourn (Sojourners) to be intentionally formed in the way of Jesus as they spend time with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do as Jesus did. To that end we have a Spiritual Health reflection for every person to take annually and we ask everyone to attend the Practicing the Way course, which is offered twice a year.
We are convinced that you can’t follow Jesus alone, not you shouldn’t, you can’t! This is why as you get connected at Sojourn you will find Four Layers of Community:
Tables: 2-3 people who deeply know and love you (this is the most intimate of spaces).
Gospel Community: 8-15 people with who we do life (this is where you’ll form friendships).
Sunday Gatherings: the larger body of believers God has called you to (Sojourn).
Mission: We regularly serve our city through local/national/international partnerships.
We are all at different places of our discipleship journey but these four areas will provide different environments for you to continue to grow as a disciple, in the context of family, while living on mission.
